Badger Boys State is an opportunity for Wisconsin's young men which can be very memorable
and impactful. It is also fast paced and conducted away from family and friends which makes it
difficult for capturing memories in quality photos. However, throughout the week Boys State staff take
a significant number of photos (often thousands) covering nearly every activity throughout the week.
These pictures are used for public relations and for a slide show presented at the end of each session.

It became evident that many of the pictures taken, many never used, would be of interest
to participants, family, friends and sponsors via download for personal use. For this reason,
all pictures taken throughout the week are posted for viewing and download. However, due to
the cost of posting/storing the pictures we charge a small fee for access to these photos.

Badger Boys State, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and makes every attempt to keep
our costs low which, in turn, keeps sponsorship fees for each participant as low as possible. This is
very important to our pool of sponsors and allows for more participants each session. The small fee
charged for photo access goes directly to the Badger Boys State program to offset operating expenses;
minus a transaction service fee of 6% which is charged by PayPal™ on each transaction.

We feel this arrangement has worked well in the years since we began offering this service and
hope you find this to be the case. We cannot guarantee that each participant will appear in a picture.
